Lola
T70 Special Pages
We posted a
new page about David
Pozzi
seeking history of his Lola T70 Mk1 SL70/09 originally owned
and raced by Buck Fulp . Since then we have heard from Bill Krueger
who sold the car to David in 1974.
His story
was so interesting about how he purchased it, then prepared it
and ultimately wrecked it at Riverside Raceway that we posted
his story -Bill
Krueger
. We're sure it will bring back some memories of the racing on
a shoestring in the '60s and '70s.
We now own the domain
name racelounge.com
Both domain
names will reach us here. So look for some subtle changes. If
you use a search engine you might find links of old owner, a
German Company selling baby stuff - strange! They finally let
it expire and it was picked up by a reseller in England - where
we bought it after months of bidding and counter bidding.
1962 Mid-engine Scarab
- Introduction at Santa Barbara
In
searching my slides of 1962 Santa Barbara Race (Goleta) I came
upon some telephoto shots of Lance's Debut of his Mid-engine
Scarab. That's Lance behind the wheel. Special thanks to Chuck
Brandt for beautiful scans of shots that were marginal at best.
If you have additional information about the history of this
car, please contact us.
As the traffic
builds on our site a special thanks to Jerry Entin and Willem
Oosthoek. Both have contributed by edit, information and links.
See Vintage
